LOVE CHOCOLATE
I could go as far as to say I am addicted to Chocolate, is this unusual? I don't think so, I ate three cubes of plain dairy milk last night and I feel myself savouring every last taste....... yum!

My husband is more of an addict than me, and its like world war 3 if I ask him to share a morsel, but true love is when he actually gives me one little piece out of his family sized block. He blames this on having 7 brothers and sisters (yes you did hear that right), he says by the time his mum had unpacked the shopping and he had clawed his way through the crowd to the bench top there was never a timtam left, that's the problem with being the younger of the mob.

I am also addicted to Pinterest! why? i have no idea, but you try it and I guarantee, you will also not be able to tear your self away long enough to eat a piece of chocolate.

As usual i have more than three ha ha, but i have chosen one very cool website, Linogirl and all are made by one special lady Kerry Scheen locally in Australia she is an illustrator and designer who works with porcelain creating wearable art, vessels, sculptures and paintings.

Child Friendly Craft Websites

Good Morning Lovelies;

With only a few days left until Mothers Day I have been looking on line for some websites with great craft ideas and other things for kids that relate to this special day.

I found quite a few but  as this piece is called "Three of the Best" I thought I should cut them down to three, so here they are:

A great little site called Kaboose has a never ending list of ideas for little people to do on special occasions. There are easy to follow instructions on how to make paper carnations, plaster plaques, wooden spoon people and some great recipes to follow also.

Another great site was Apples 4 The Teacher. There are pages and pages of fun things available for kiddies to do here, there are some excellent printable short stories, endless colouring pages and lists of ideal movies to help celebrate.

Danielle's Place is my favourite I think. There is every activity you can think of, for every special occasion, many of them are bible based, but in saying that most special occasions are also bible based. These are beautifully thought out crafts, all children will love, there are so many. I had so much fun browsing through them all. I love the bookmarks and window clings especially!

It's a kid thing!

There is no doubt, Kids love cooking. My little munchkins ask me everyday to cook something or other. Cupcakes, muffins, cakes, pies, biscuits even juice, slushies, sorbet and smoothies anything colourful and sweet really, i have a pretty bad sweet tooth myself so i cant comment (huhum).

Its pretty easy to cook something yummy nowadays, all the frosting's and decorations are so readily available even in the local supermarket there is an endless display of delicious extras.

So with Easter cakes and chocolates still on our minds (yummy) this weeks Three of the best is looking at ways of "playing with food"

Reusable lunch bags

I don't know if everyone feels the same as me? but i feel incredibly guilty every time i pack Imogen's lunchbox. I overuse plastic sandwich bags immensely. One for the sandwich, one for the apple (because miss fussbag wont eat the Peel), one for a snack/cracker.......the list goes on its, got to be at least 5 or six a day by the time I have done Glenn's lunch and Samuel's for buzy kidz.

 



A friend of mine told me to look up Haggus and Stookles when i was looking for a practical lunch box this year and ! found this amazing site with these fabulous little reusable sandwich wraps (just make sure they don't get thrown away). I thought I would share with you three of the best ways to avoid plastic sandwich bags where possible.
