A letter from my thoughts

Dear Avis and Kurt,

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our mini holiday at your farm.
The children had a ball, they especially loved the Turkeys gobbling at them every time they "cockle doodle dooed". they loved roaming around in muddy wellies, not worrying about getting dirty, they loved feeling the rain on their faces.

We loved collecting sticks for the fire, lighting it and smelling he smoke, roasting marshmallows (i caught mine on fire). I loved being awoken by a cockerel in the morning.

Being around animals is fabulous, the sound of all the peacocks was somewhat strange but relaxing, and the baaing sheep in the paddock next to us.

I loved walking out at night and hearing the scattering of ten or so kangaroos across the nearby field and to come out first thing in the morning to emus crossing the Dewey grass.

The kids favourite thing was the dog "Mally" bounding across the wet grass and jumping up with muddy paws, so excited to see them.

These four days were the best, a well needed break, with no mobile phone, computer or TV and being of course only around nature at its best.

We would love to come down again one day.

Love Angela Glenn Imogen and Samuel xxxx
